MAYDAY Recruitment Group in Adelaide is partnering with a well-established insurer to appoint a Claims Consultant for a 3-month temporary assignment. You will manage claims from notification to resolution and liaise with customers and stakeholders to deliver outcomes.

This role requires strong claims processing experience, with property claims being highly desirable. You will work Monday to Friday, in a busy team, with an immediate start in a supportive environment and competitive hourly rate of

Qualifications

• Previous claims processing experience – essential
• Experience managing claims within an insurance environment
• Property claims experience highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise competing claims
• Experience using claims management systems and Microsoft Excel
• Ability to hit the ground running and work effectively

Responsibilities

• Processing and managing claims from notification through to resolution
• Assessing claim information and determining appropriate outcomes
• Liaising with customers, brokers, assessors, suppliers and other stakeholders
• Coordinating assessments, repairs and other claim requirements
• Maintaining accurate claim records and documentation
• Managing customer enquiries and providing regular updates
• Ensuring claims are processed efficiently and in line with relevant policies and procedures
