Job summary

Hilton Surfers Paradise is seeking a Duty Technician to perform daily bedroom and corridor maintenance, ensuring guest comfort and safety. You’ll handle routine and reactive repairs across building systems, including A/C, TVs, plumbing, and fixtures, while upholding Hilton standards of service.

You will report health and safety concerns and support special projects as needed, contributing to a safe, well-maintained hotel experience for guests and team members on the Gold Coast.

What will I be doing?

As Duty Technician, you are responsible for carrying out daily bedroom and corridor maintenance to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Duty Technician will carry out routine and reactive repair, general maintenance of the building to maintain the hotel and residences in an optimum and efficient manner. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Carry out basic repairs to guestrooms, A/C units, trouble shoot and repair in-house TV systems
• Ensure guest rooms and corridors are in the required working order
• Conduct minor furniture and carpentry repairs and minor plumbing repairs (taps, shower heads, toilets).
• Report any health and safety issues on the floor
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
