Job summary

Norton Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced full-time Duty Manager for The Woombye Pub in Queensland. You will lead busy shifts, supervise bar, dining and gaming operations, and deliver friendly, efficient service.

You’ll manage KENO, TAB and gaming clearances, handle guest inquiries, maintain safety standards, and assist with opening and closing procedures and cash handling. RSA, RSG and RMLV, plus an Approved Manager licence, are required; nights and weekends availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar role.
• RSA, RSG and RMLV qualifications.
• Approved Manager licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience with KENO, TAB and gaming clearances.
• Experience working in multi-bar venues.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.
• Familiarity with SevenRooms, me&u and Uber Eats.
• Knowledge of beer reticulation systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and manage shifts across a multi-bar venue.
• Lead and support staff to deliver friendly, efficient service.
• Manage KENO, TAB and gaming operations, including gaming clearances.
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Maintain high standards of venue presentation, safety and responsible service.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and cash handling.
