Job summary

Hotel Renmark is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our team. This hands-on role covers bar and gaming areas, requiring confident leadership and a customer‑focused approach.

You will oversee day‑to‑day operations, coordinate staff across departments and ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for patrons. RSA, RSG 1 and RSG 2 certifications are required, with a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Solid hospitality experience, particularly within bar and/or gaming environments.
• Previous supervisory or Duty Manager experience.
• RSA certification (SA).
• RSG level 1 certification.
• RSG level 2 certification.

Responsibilities

• Work across multiple areas, providing friendly, professional service while supporting daily operations.
• Oversee venue-wide operations and coordinate staff to ensure a safe, efficient guest experience.
• Provide clear direction to staff and address performance or service issues as they arise.
• Lead by example with high standards of service, presentation and professionalism.
• Monitor patron behaviour and manage incidents or challenging situations.
• Ensure responsible service of alcohol and responsible gambling practices.
• Provide hands-on assistance across departments to maintain smooth operations.
• Complete opening/closing procedures, cash handling and operational reporting.
