Job summary

Sundowner Hotel & Motel in Caboolture is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will supervise shifts, oversee gaming, bar, bistro and venue procedures, and support the Venue Manager in maintaining high standards.

Ideal candidates will hold RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager licences (QLD), demonstrate strong leadership and communication, and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment with rotating night and weekend

Qualifications

• Previous Duty Manager or hospitality leadership experience.
• Current RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager Licence (QLD).
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach and hospitality focus.
• Ability to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends.
• Experience in gaming, bar and food & beverage environments is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team during day and evening shifts
• Deliver outstanding customer service and guest experiences
• Oversee gaming, bar, bistro and venue operations
• Ensure compliance with liquor, gaming and venue procedures
• Assist with staff supervision, cash handling and shift management
• Support the Venue Manager in maintaining high operational standards
• Foster a positive team culture and lead by example
