Job summary

The Mill Inn is seeking a Duty Manager to lead daily operations across the bar, restaurant and accommodation, ensuring outstanding guest experiences. You will motivate and develop our team, resolve guest inquiries, and oversee staffing, budgeting and safety practices to drive success.

Qualifications

• Must hold RMLV to ensure licensing compliance.
• Must hold Approved Manager's License for licensed areas.
• RSA certification required for responsible alcohol service.
• RSG certification required for gambling activities.
• CLO certification for handling customer inquiries and complaints.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across bar, restaurant and accommodation, ensuring every detail is perfect.
• Motivate, mentor and develop staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Be the go-to person for guests, handling inquiries and resolving issues to ensure memorable visits.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, inventory and budgets while maintaining efficiency.
• Champion health, safety and licensing compliance to protect guests and team.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• RMLV (Responsible Management of Licensed Venues): Required to ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
• Approved Manager's License: Necessary for managing licensed areas and ensuring legal operation.
• RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol): Essential for serving alcohol responsibly and adhering to legal requirements.
• RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling): Required to oversee gambling activities in a responsible manner.
• CLO (Customer Liaison Officer) Certification: Important for handling customer inquiries and complaints effectively, especially in a licensed venue.

Note: If you do not currently hold all of the mandatory qualifications, you will be required to obtain before commencing.
