Job summary

EVT Connect Hospitality at Holiday Inn Express Macquarie Park, Sydney, is seeking a Hotel Duty Manager to lead the team and deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will ensure compliance with brand standards, drive quality, and support staff and guests with a proactive, can-do attitude. The role requires flexibility across day and night shifts and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have previous accommodation hotel experience in a similar role.
• Strong Leadership skills in managing teams to drive for results.
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written form.
• Professional and personable, with a can-do attitude.
• You're required to hold or obtain a First Aid certificate and a SA RSA certificate.
• Be flexible to work between days and nights as required.
• PMS experience - PM Pro preferred.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced HotelDuty Manager, someone smart and considerate - a problem solving genius that takes pride in creating and delivering great customer experiences. Working with the Hotel Manager, you'll lead the team to success, rolling up your sleeves and working side by side to deliver a superior product. You'll take responsibility for compliance and quality, including the satisfaction of both our guests and staff - ensuring brand and company standards are maintained.

About you-

• Must have previous accommodation hotel experience in a similar role
• Strong Leadership skills in managing teams to drive for results
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written form
• Professional and personable, with a can-do attitude.
• You're pre-equipped with sound judgement, even under pressure – you'll have a heap of responsibility right off the bat
• You make calm, collected decisions – even when the clock is ticking
• You will be required to hold or obtain a First Aid certificate and a SA RSA Certificate
• Be flexible to work between days and nights as required.
• Have PMS experience - PM Pro preferred.
