Job summary

Elysium Noosa, part of the Accor group, invites a senior hospitality professional to lead operational departments across the resort. You will champion a culture of genuine hospitality, manage guest interactions, and guide teams to deliver exceptional service aligned with The Elysium Way.

Based on the Sunshine Coast, this role requires a hands-on leader who can coach staff, drive guest satisfaction, and maintain high standards in a luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in hotel, resort, or premium hospitality.
• Strong guest engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Calm, decisive, and professional under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational departments during your shift and coordinate with Department Heads.
• Champion hospitality culture and deliver personalised guest experiences.
• Serve as senior contact for guest enquiries, resolving issues confidently.
• Set standards for service excellence, professionalism and presentation.
• Coach and support team to maintain a high-performing workplace.
• Anticipate guest needs and enhance journeys with thoughtful service.
• Promote resort facilities, services and special offers.
• Maintain shift records and communicate operational matters across departments.
• Ensure WHS, emergency procedures, policies and standards are followed.
• Act as ambassador of Elysium Noosa and Accor, delivering The Elysium Way.

Job Description

• Lead operational departments during your shift, working closely with Department Heads to ensure seamless service delivery across the resort.
• Champion a culture of genuine hospitality, delivering personalised, professional and memorable guest experiences.
• Act as the senior point of contact for guest enquiries, concerns and service recovery, resolving issues confidently and effectively.
• Lead by example, setting the standard for service excellence, professionalism and presentation.
• Inspire, coach and support team members to create a positive, engaged and high-performing workplace culture.
• Anticipate guest needs and identify opportunities to enhance the guest journey through thoughtful service and attention to detail.
• Drive commercial awareness by promoting resort facilities, services, experiences and special offers.
• Maintain accurate shift records and communicate operational matters effectively across departments.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, emergency procedures, company policies and operational standards.

• Previous leadership experience within a hotel, resort or premium hospitality environment.
• Strong guest engagement and problem-solving skills.

• A commitment to service excellence, team collaboration and operational standards.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
