Club Mulwala is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our leadership team during a period of growth, with new food and beverage outlets and Bayside venues on the horizon. You will lead a team, ensuring exceptional experiences for our members and guests in a fast-paced club environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Duty Manager or venue leader in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Commitment to exceptional service.
• Knowledge of liquor licensing, gaming compliance, AML/CTF and WHS obligations.
• Experience with cash handling and venue operations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Composure under pressure; flexible for rotating rosters.

Club Mulwala – located on the NSW Border from Yarrawonga is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our leadership team during an exciting period of growth, with new food and beverage outlets and Bayside venues on the horizon.

As Duty Manager, you’ll be a visible, hands‑on leader supporting the day‑to‑day operations of the Club, leading the team and delivering exceptional experiences for our members and guests.

This full-time, role is ideal for a hospitality leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is ready to grow their career with an expanding organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Oversee daily operations, including staffing, service delivery and floor leadership
• Lead by example as a visible, approachable presence
• Handle enquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, gaming, AML/CTF, WHS and RSA requirements
• Support management with operational standards and continuous improvement
• Oversee opening and closing procedures
• Maintain high standards of presentation, service and safety

About you

• Experience as a Duty Manager, Venue Manager or in hospitality leadership; club, gaming or hospitality background preferred
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• A genuine commitment to exceptional service
• Sound knowledge of liquor licensing, gaming compliance, AML/CTF and WHS obligations
• Experience with cash handling, reconciliation and venue operations
• Strong communication, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills
• Composure and professionalism under pressure
• Flexibility for a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
