Job summary

Jacobs Well Hotel is seeking a motivated and experienced manager to join our hospitality team on the Gold Coast hinterland. You will lead and support a positive team environment while building strong relationships with local patrons and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service, and overseeing bar operations, stock control, and events.

The role covers end-to-end events planning, coordination, and execution.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Experience across multiple hotel operations.
• RSA, RSG, and TAB certification (or willingness to obtain).

Job description

The Jacobs Well Hotel is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our management team. Located in a charming rural setting in the cane fields, our venue has built a strong reputation as one of the region’s most welcoming and community-focused hotels.

We are looking for a self-driven and enthusiastic professional who can lead and support a positive team environment while building strong relationships with both local patrons and visitors. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, alongside proven skills in bar operations and stock control.

A well-rounded understanding of hotel operations is essential, including experience in TAB, gaming, bistro, and retail areas.

Experience in End to end events, including planning, coordination and execution highly advantageous.

• RSA, RSG, and TAB certification (or willingness to obtain)

This is a full-time position offering above-award remuneration. Flexibility with working hours and days is highly regarded.
