Job summary

Brunel is seeking a Production Operator for a permanent mining site in the Mackay region. You will operate heavy mining machinery to meet production targets, working with a supportive team in a fast-paced environment with a 7/7 roster.

The role requires safety-focused work practices, WMS procedures, and a pre-employment medical and drug screen. Camp accommodation and travel options may be provided on site.

Qualifications

• Standard 11 certification or willingness to obtain.
• Coal Board Medical certification or willingness to obtain.
• Minimum 12 months experience operating heavy machinery (Dump Trucks) in a mining environment.
• Current Driver's License (Manual preferred).
• A strong commitment to safety and adherence to site procedures.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.

Job description

THE ROLE

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy mining machinery to meet production targets. You will be working in a fast-paced environment alongside a supportive team.

Profile

KEY REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• Standard 11 (S11): Current certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Coal Board Medical (CBM): Current certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience: Minimum 12 months experience operating heavy machinery (Dump Trucks) in a mining environment.
• Licenses: Current Driver's License (Manual preferred).
• Safety First: A strong commitment to safety and adherence to site procedures.
• Availability: Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
