Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is seeking an experienced Dump Truck Operator for a long-term, open-pit iron ore operation in Western Australia. The role offers a 2/1 day and night roster, with 12.5 hours paid per day and excellent camp facilities.

You will join a seasoned production mining team, performing pre-start checks and contributing to safety and productivity outcomes. We’re looking for candidates with proven open-pit dump truck experience, strong safety awareness, a valid Australian driver’s

Qualifications

• Proven Dump Truck Operator experience in open-pit production mining.
• Strong safety awareness and positive attitude.
• Ability to work a 2/1 day and night shift roster.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Operating large mining haul trucks safely and efficiently.
• Completing production haulage activities within an open-pit environment.
• Conducting pre-start inspections and reporting equipment defects.
• Working closely with supervisors, dispatch and other mobile plant operators.
• Maintaining strong safety, productivity and operational standards.

About the role
