Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning using data to inform teaching.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, families and colleagues.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program evaluation.
• Undertake other duties as required by the principal.
• Participate in meetings, camps and co-curricular activities.
• Support school policies and student wellbeing initiatives.
