Carnegie Primary School within the Department of Education Victoria invites applications for a classroom teacher. Successful applicants will demonstrate curriculum knowledge, ability to plan high-impact lessons, data-informed assessment, and collaboration with families and staff, in a diverse school community

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy, and ability to respond to student learning needs.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating the impact on student learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning using data to inform teaching practice and communicating with students and parents.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum.
• Undertake classroom and organisational duties as directed by the principal.
• Engage in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, and co-curricular activities.
• Participate in induction and professional learning activities and staff development.
