This is a hands-on, ownership-focused role for an experienced FM ready to lead from the front and mentor a junior team member. You will manage planned and reactive maintenance, ensure safety and compliance, maintain occupier relations, and drive contractor performance across the portfolio.

CBRE is seeking a Senior Facilities Manager to take responsibility for day-to-day operations across two assets in a premium Melbourne CBD precinct. This is a hands-on, ownership-focused role for an experienced FM ready to lead from the front, develop a junior team member, and deliver high standards across a varied and interesting portfolio.

This is a 5-month contract with an immediate start. CBRE has a strong pipeline of facilities management (FM) roles in Melbourne, with genuine opportunity for further work on completion.

In this role, you will:

• Manage planned and reactive maintenance programs across both assets, ensuring services are delivered safely, effectively and in line with contractual requirements
• Act as the senior operational contact for tenants and stakeholders across both buildings, maintaining strong relationships and a high standard of occupier experience
• Lead and mentor a junior team member, supporting their day-to-day performance and professional development
• Oversee building compliance, WHS obligations, risk management and statutory requirements across your portfolio
• Drive contractor performance across all building services, with a focus on quality, compliance and value
• Manage operational reporting, budgets and service delivery measures, and contribute to broader precinct initiatives

About You

You are an experienced facilities manager with a track record in commercial building operations and the confidence to take ownership of a varied portfolio. You bring strong contractor management skills, a relationship-driven approach, and a genuine interest in developing others.

Your background may include:
