Job summary

Equans Australia is seeking a skilled Fire Electrician to join our Perth team. You will install, commission, service and repair a wide range of fire systems across commercial, industrial and critical infrastructure sites in Western Australia, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards.

You should have a Certificate III in Electrotechnology and a WA Electrical Workers Licence, plus several years of field experience in fire protection.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology required.
• Current WA Electrical Workers Licence.
• White Card (Construction Induction Card).
• Minimum 5 years' field experience, ideally within the fire protection industry.

Responsibilities

• Installation, programming, fault finding and repairs of fire detection systems, fire panels and EWIS systems.
• Installation, modification and maintenance of FDC, IE, EWC, IE, FFCP systems.
• Pump interface equipment, emergency and exit lighting, auxiliary service interfaces.
• Integration with BMS and HVAC control systems.
• Conducting site surveys and recommending compliant fire protection solutions.
• Diagnosing and resolving technical faults efficiently.
• Completing service reports and compliance documentation; on-call duties as required.
