Job summary

Combined Fire Systems is a growing, 30-year family-owned fire protection business. We're looking for a skilled Fire Electrician or Leading Hand to join our team full-time with an attractive incentive on offer for the right candidate.

The role involves installations, fault finding, programming fire alarm panels, and contributing to high-rise projects and fitouts across Adelaide. You will work with a supportive team and be expected to maintain safety and standards on site.

Qualifications

  • Strong panel fault-finding and programming capabilities for fire alarm systems.
  • Experience with large-scale projects (high-rise, warehouses) and minor works.
  • Able to lead a small team and train apprentices.
  • Good communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Installations and system expansions, 1st and 2nd fix.
  • Service, fault finding and maintenance of fire detection/alarm systems.
  • Program fire alarm panels.
  • Minor works, fitouts, upgrades and system modifications.
  • OWS installation and fault finding.
  • Liaise with Supervisor/Project Manager and builders.

Combined Fire Systems is a growing, 30 years family-owned fire protection business. We're looking for a skilled Fire Electrician or Leading Hand to join our team full-time with an attractive incentive on offer for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing
  • New installations and system expansions, 1st and 2nd fix
  • Servicing, fault finding and maintaining fire detection and alarm systems
  • Programming fire alarm panels
  • Minor works, fitouts, upgrades and system modifications
  • OWS installation and fault finding
  • Liaising with Supervisor/Project Manager
  • Liaising with builders

All work must be carried out in accordance with AS1670.1 and AS1670.4

What you'll bring
  • Strong panel fault-finding and programming skills (AMPAC, Pertronic, Notifier)
  • Experience in large new high-rise projects, warehouses, fire pump works, minor works, and fitouts
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time well
  • Ability to lead a small team and train apprentices
  • Good communication and a team-first attitude
Licences required
  • Electrical Licence (SA)
  • Current Police Clearance
  • White Card
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Working at Heights Certification
  • EWP Licences
  • DCSI Clearance / Working with Vulnerable People Certificate (Preferred)
