Job summary

Drone Forge in Western Australia is seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) Pilot to support defence, government and commercial programs across Australia. Qualifications

• Current CASA Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) for the relevant platform portfolio.
• Current CASA medical certificate (or equivalent self-declaration where applicable).
• Demonstrated field operational experience with multirotor and/or fixed-wing RPAS platforms.
• Willingness to deploy nationally or internationally on short notice.
• Sound knowledge of CASA Part 101 operations and BVLOS/SORA concepts.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to obtain security clearances where required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct RPAS flight operations compliant with CASA regs and SOPs.
• Perform BVLOS and VLOS operations as authorised, including SORA-governed missions.
• Complete pre-flight risk assessments, site surveys and airspace checks.
• Operate payload systems (LiDAR, photogrammetry, thermal, multispectral) and manage data.
• Deploy to field sites on short notice, including remote or international locations.
• Act as on-site client liaison and escalate issues to the Remote Operations Manager.
• Maintain field kit, spares, and equipment records; report incidents promptly.
• Maintain RePL and medical certification and comply with fatigue management.
