Job summary

Drone Forge is seeking a Drone Survey & Geospatial Data Specialist to lead UAV survey missions across multirotor, VTOL and fixed-wing platforms in Perth, WA. You will manage LiDAR, photogrammetry, RTK/PPK GNSS and deliver validated, client-ready datasets through the full processing pipeline.

You will apply your expertise in GDA2020/MGA, AHD, WGS84 transformations and contribute to safety, documentation and project scope discussions with clients.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in surveying, spatial science, geomatics or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Strong photogrammetry and LiDAR processing capability to deliver client-ready deliverables.
• GNSS corrections in practice: RTK/PPK, base/rover setup and post-processing (e.g., AUSPOS).
• Working knowledge of datum systems: GDA2020/MGA, AHD, WGS84 and transformations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and fly UAV survey missions across multirotor, VTOL and fixed-wing platforms to project spec under ReOC.
• Capture LiDAR, photogrammetry and RTK/PPK GNSS with ground control and check points.
• Run the full processing pipeline: dense matching, point cloud classification, DTM/DSM, orthomosaic, and volumetrics.
• Own deliverable accuracy — validate control, run check-point analyses, and produce conformance reports.

Education
