Job summary

Drone Forge in Western Australia is seeking a ROC Pilot to safely operate RPAS platforms from a fixed base, monitoring safety, compliance, and data capture. You will perform flight planning, risk assessments, and local tasking within a defined radius of the ROC.

The role also involves data handling, maintenance, and client liaison, with opportunities to work with DIAB and LiDAR payload systems, under CASA rules and Drone Forge SOPs.

Qualifications

• Must hold CASA RePL and medical certificate.
• BVLOS OCTA, IREX or equivalent.
• Operational experience with multirotor RPAS platforms.
• Knowledge of CASA Part 101 operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct RPAS flight operations from the ROC within its local radius.
• Operate autonomous platforms and DIAB tasks from the ROC.
• Perform pre-flight risk assessments and airspace checks.
• Maintain aircraft logs and AVCRM records, ensure readiness.
• Maintain compliance with CASA regulations and Drone Forge SMS.
• Support client relationships and data handover to management.
