Job summary

Freighter Group in Campbelltown, NSW, is seeking a reliable Driver/Yard Hand for a hands-on role. You will move, deliver, and prep trailers for customer handover while maintaining an orderly yard and supporting workshop tasks.

The role operates on a 38-hour, four-day week (Mon-Thurs) with an afternoon shift. Applicants should hold a current HC licence (MC licence advantageous), possess a clean driving record, and demonstrate safety awareness, good communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Mandatory HC licence; MC licence is highly regarded.
• Clean driving record and safe driving history.
• Experience towing/moving heavy trailers is preferred.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and collecting trailers from customers and suppliers.
• Transporting trailers between dealership and other locations.
• Preparing new and used trailers for handover to customers.
• Maintaining yard presentation and organisation.
• Assisting with loading, unloading and moving trailers safely.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting issues.
• Supporting workshop and parts with general duties.
• Ensuring work is completed safely per procedures.

This will be an afternoon shift role, woking a 38 hour, 4 day week (Monday-Thursday)

Freighter Group is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and suppliers of transport equipment. We are looking for a reliable and motivated Driver / Yard Hand to join our NSW dealership in Campbelltown.

This is a hands-on role that combines vehicle movements, customer deliveries and general yard duties to support our Sales, Service and Parts operations.

About the Role

• Delivering and collecting trailers from customers and suppliers.
• Transporting trailers between our dealership and other locations.
• Preparing new and used trailers for customer handover.
• Maintaining the presentation and organisation of the yard.
• Assisting with loading, unloading and moving trailers safely around the site.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues.
• Supporting the workshop and parts departments with general duties as required.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.

About You

• A current HC licence (MC licence highly regarded).
