Job summary

Haulmark Trailers in Brisbane seeks a reliable HC Truck Driver / Yard Operator & Labourer to join our busy manufacturing team. The role blends truck driving, trailer movements, forklift operation and hands-on workshop tasks.

You will move trailers through production, perform basic vehicle inspections, assist with trailer fitting, and help the production team with general labouring. If you like variety and working with a practical, supportive team, this is for you.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current HC driver's licence.
• Must hold a current forklift licence.
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard truck to move trailers between production stages.
• Deliver and collect trailers, including weighing trips.
• Assist with trailer fitting (lights, tyres, brakes, hydraulics).
• Operate forklifts to move materials and equipment.
• Use hand and power tools for workshop tasks.
• Complete daily truck inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Support production with general labouring tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organised work environment.

Haulmark is looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated HC Truck Driver / Yard Operator & Labourer to join our busy manufacturing team.

This isn't your typical truck driving job! You'll enjoy a varied role combining truck driving, trailer movements, forklift operation and hands‑on work within our manufacturing facility.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operating our yard truck to move trailers between different stages of production.

• Delivering, collecting and transporting trailers, including trips for weighing.

• Assisting with general trailer fitting, including lights, tyres, brakes and hydraulic systems.

• Operating forklifts to move materials and equipment.

• Using hand and power tools to assist with general workshop duties.

• Completing daily truck inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.

• Supporting the production team with general labouring tasks.

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment.

What We're Looking For

We're after someone who is practical, dependable and happy to roll up their sleeves and get the job done.

To be successful, you'll need:

• Current HC Driver's Licence – essential.

• Current Forklift Licence – essential.

• A good level of physical fitness and willingness to undertake manual handling.

• A strong work ethic and reliable attitude.

• A safety‑first approach to everything you do.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.

Experience working with trailers, trucks or within a manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
