Job summary

Campbell Transport, a WA-owned transport and logistics company, is seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor for the Forestdale depot. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to keep the depot safe, clean and efficient, coordinating daily tasks and inspections.

The role requires prior yard or supervisory experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and a strong commitment to safety. A current driver's licence and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug

Responsibilities

• Assist Operations Manager with daily, weekly and monthly operational audits and inspections.
• Conduct regular checks of trucks, trailers, forklifts and other yard equipment.
• Monitor and maintain general yard cleanliness and presentation.
• Identify and report maintenance, safety or operational issues.
• Support day-to-day coordination and smooth yard operation.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the depot.
• Assist with general yard duties as required.

About the Role

As a Yard Supervisor, you will play an important role in maintaining a safe, clean and efficient depot environment. Working closely with the Operations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting the Operations Manager with daily, weekly and monthly operational audits and inspections

Conducting regular checks of trucks, trailers, forklifts and other yard equipment

Monitoring and maintaining general yard cleanliness and presentation

Identifying and reporting any maintenance, safety or operational issues

Supporting the day-to-day coordination and smooth operation of the yard

Ensuring equipment and work areas are maintained to a high standard

Promoting a strong safety culture across the depot

Assisting with general yard duties as required

Previous experience in a yard, transport, logistics or similar supervisory role

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A strong commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, organised work environment

Ability to conduct inspections and identify potential safety or maintenance issues

Ability to pass a pre-employment commercial medical, including drug and alcohol screening

Current driver's licence
