Cleanaway Waste Management in Launceston TAS is inviting applications for casual Rear Lift Operator roles. You will drive and operate rear lift collection vehicles, load and unload containers, and deliver loads to recycling facilities while delivering high standards of customer service.

Applicants must hold a valid HR license, be available to work a 7-day roster including weekdays and weekends, maintain a clean driving record, and be willing to undergo pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol

The Opportunity

Embrace the opportunity to join our CDS team and make a significant impact in container collection and recycling. You'll handle the crucial tasks of loading and unloading returned containers, transporting materials to recycling facilities, and ensuring exceptional customer service. We're building a brand new CDS team and want skilled, reliable and motivated drivers to join us!

These are casual positions so there is expectation to be available to work weekdays and weekends.

As a Rear Lift Operator you will be responsible for

• Responsible for driving and operating rear lift collection vehicle
• Daily prestart and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities.
• Complying with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations and training
• Maintaining a professional image of the company and delivering high quality customer service at all times

About You

• HR license a must with experience
• 7 day roster so must be flexible to work weekdays and weekends
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Strong customer service focus
• Committed to safety and a team-oriented mindset
• Willing to undergo pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing
