Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking an experienced HR Driver based at the Port Douglas depot to operate a waste collection vehicle across the region. The role requires starts at 4.45–5.45 am from Sunday to Thursday, with an HR licence as a minimum and a willingness to undergo pre-employment medical checks, including drug testing.

The Opportunity:

Based at our Port Douglas depot, we are seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a waste collection vehicle. This may include rear-lift, side-lift, and hook trucks (RORO), servicing our customers across the region.

About You:

• Must be available for 4.45 - 5.45 am starts
• HR Licence as a minimum
• Good attitude, reliable, and willing to learn
• Willing to take a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test
• Waste industry experience is not required (highly regarded)
