Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking an experienced HR Driver at our Port Douglas depot to operate a waste collection vehicle across the region, including rear-lift, side-lift and hook trucks (RORO). The role starts very early, with 4.45–5.45 am shifts on a Sunday to Thursday roster.

You will be part of Australia's largest waste management company, with inductions, training and uniforms provided, and opportunities for ongoing development within a safe, compliant fleet environment.

Qualifications

• Must be available for 4.45 - 5.45 am starts.
• HR Licence as a minimum.
• Good attitude, reliable, and willing to learn.
• Willing to take a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test.
• Waste industry experience is not required (highly regarded)

Responsibilities

• Operate waste collection vehicle (rear-lift, side-lift, hook trucks RORO) across the region.
• Service customers from Port Douglas to surrounding areas.

The Opportunity

Based at our Port Douglas depot, we are seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a waste collection vehicle. This may include rear-lift, side-lift, and hook trucks (RORO), servicing our customers across the region.
