Job summary

Cleanaway, Australia’s leading waste management company, seeks experienced Truck Drivers for the Geelong region. You will operate rear lift, hook lift and front lift vehicles, delivering to recycling and disposal sites and performing daily checks.

Join a safety‑mocused, high‑growth team offering a competitive hourly rate and penalties, with overtime available. Applicants should have an HR licence, a clean driving record, and be prepared for 4am starts.

Qualifications

• HR licence or higher and a clean driving record is essential.
• Waste industry experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to work overtime and start early (4am).

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of collection vehicles including rear lift, hook lift and front lift.
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Perform daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Interact with clients and ensure safe loading and unloading of trucks.
• Maintain presentation of vehicle interiors and exteriors.

The Opportunity

Based at our Moolap VIC depot, we are seeking experienced Truck Drivers / Heavy Vehicle Drivers for full time work performing essential services throughout the region.

• Operating a variety of collection vehicles including rear lift, hook lift and front lift


• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities


• Daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment


• Client interaction and safe loading and unloading of truck


• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

**All our vehicles are fitted with In Vehicle Monitoring Systems (IVMS) to support safe driving practices.

About You

• Valid HR licence or higher and a clean driving record


• Waste industry experience is an advantage


• Reliable, flexible to work overtime and have a positive attitude


• Strong commitment to safety and a willingness to work as part of a team


• Available for early 4am starts
