Job summary

Viridian Glass Pty Ltd is seeking a Driver/Factory Worker to join our Coffs Harbour team on a permanent full-time basis. You will deliver glass products using a Heavy Rigid truck, load/unload, and assist with warehouse and dispatch duties. A current HR licence and Heavy Rigid experience are essential, with a strong safety mindset and good customer service.

Job description

Join Viridian Glass, a 100% Australian owned and operated business and a leading processor of residential and architectural glass.

We are looking for an experienced Driver/Factory Worker to join our Coffs Harbour team in a permanent full-time role.

Permanent full-time position

Competitive wages

Monday–Thursday: 6:00am–3:00pm

Friday: 6:00am–11:00am

The Role

Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will be responsible for local and regional deliveries of glass products to our customers using a Heavy Rigid truck (no crane/HIAB), as well as assisting with general factory, warehouse and dispatch duties as required.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing safe and timely customer deliveries
• Loading and unloading glass products
• Conducting vehicle inspections and ensuring loads are safely secured
• Maintaining accurate stillage and delivery records
• Providing professional and friendly customer service
• Assisting with warehouse and dispatch activities when required
• Maintaining a strong focus on safety at all times

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• A current HR driver's licence
• Previous Heavy Rigid driving experience
• A strong safety focus and responsible driving record
• Good customer service and communication skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• The physical capability to safely perform the requirements of the role.
• A forklift licence, warehousing/dispatch experience or experience in the glass industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
