Job summary

Boral Concrete on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced MR Driver who will safely deliver concrete and support batching activities, helping to develop skills across both areas of our concrete operation.

This permanent, full-time role offers structured training, a team-driven environment focused on safety, and a clear pathway into batching while staying connected to daily customer deliveries.

Qualifications

• MR Licence is required and you must have experience driving heavy vehicles.
• You should demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, customer service and teamwork.
• Good communication and basic computer skills are expected.
• Interest in developing a long-term career in concrete operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an agitator truck and complete customer deliveries.
• Conduct daily vehicle pre-starts and maintain safety standards.
• Learn and undertake concrete batching activities to specified mix designs.
• Allocate trucks and support the smooth operation of the concrete plant.
• Complete basic delivery and production documentation.
• Work closely with customers, drivers and plant staff to meet requirements.
• Assist with general yard housekeeping and plant maintenance.

Working closely with our operations team, you'll safely deliver concrete to customers, support plant operations, learn concrete batching processes, and play an important role in ensuring high-quality product and service outcomes every day.

Your day will involve

• Safely operating an agitator truck and completing customer deliveries
• Conducting daily vehicle pre-starts and maintaining safety standards

• Allocating trucks and supporting the smooth operation of the concrete plant
• Completing basic delivery and production documentation

What are we looking for?

• Current MR Licence and heavy vehicle driving experience
• A strong commitment to safety, customer service, and teamwork

• Concrete industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential
