Lindsay Rural depot in Mildura is seeking Local HC Drivers to join the team casually. This is a great opportunity to join a growing operation with ongoing, secure work and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Current HC licence and forklift licence required.
• Proven commercial driving experience.
• Refrigerated or cold-chain experience is helpful but not essential.
• A safe driving record (clean history) required.
• Strong focus on safety and doing the job properly.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safe work practices and promote a safe culture.
• Handle temperature sensitive freight and timely delivery.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Collaborate with depot teams for loading/unloading and transport.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.
• Temperature Sensitive Freight – working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.
• Customer Service – Interacting with customers in a professional manner.
• Teamwork & Communication – Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.
• Good Work Ethic – Reliable, supportive and the ability to have a go!
• Quality Checks & Control – Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork.

During Off Peak Season and as required:

• Warehouse and forklift duties when driving duties are not required.
• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Assisting with stocktakes and inventory management
• General day-to-day branch duties and warehouse work
• Helping customers and supporting the team as needed

What You’ll Bring:

• Current HC licence
