Job summary

Coates Hire Operations Pty Limited is seeking a dedicated yard/delivery driver to be based at the Erskine Park branch. You will safely deliver and pick up Coates equipment across site locations, load and unload on tilt trays, and ensure secure, compliant transport with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You'll bring a valid Heavy Rigid licence, plus rigging/dogging tickets and a crane ticket (CV). A clean driving record, safety mindset, and knowledge of Sydney metro are essential for

Qualifications

• Valid Heavy Rigid licence; wide/oversize loading experience advantageous.
• Rigging and dogging tickets highly preferred.
• Vehicle crane (CV) ticket with loading/unloading experience highly regarded.
• Solid understanding of wide/oversize load restrictions and NHVR compliance.
• Wide knowledge of Sydney metro area.
• A clean driving record and commitment to safety, with chain of responsibility
• Physically fit to perform demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safe, professional and timely delivery/pick up of Coates equipment to/from site locations.
• Loading and unloading equipment on/off tilt trays (e.g., portable buildings/ sheds).
• Maintain storage knowledge to ensure efficient retrieval.
• General yard duties to keep an organised and safe yard.
• Adhere to load restraint procedures and safety standards.

This role, based out of ourErskine Parkbranch is often the face of Coates and requires exceptionalcustomer service and professionalism, as well as working to tight deadlines and ensuring and maintaining a high standard of safety.

• Safe, professional and timely delivery/pick up of Coates equipment to and from various site locations.
• Loading and unloading equipment on and off a tilt tray e.g. Portable buildings/ sheds
• Solid understanding of heavy vehicle and load restraint procedures
• Maintain knowledge of equipment storage and location to ensure efficient retrieval.
• Perform general yard duties ensuring an organised and safe yard

What you’ll bring to the role
