Job summary

Team Global Express in Albury, NSW is seeking an experienced MR Driver to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:36pm. You will be responsible for safe local pickup and delivery of freight and will use a forklift to assist with loading and unloading as required.

This role rewards safety, reliability, and customer service, with daily vehicle checks, accurate records, and collaboration with the depot and operations teams to ensure on-time deliveries for our

• MR Driver with local pickup/delivery duties.
• Must hold a valid Forklift (LF) Licence.
• Experience in pickup and delivery or freight transport preferred.
• Strong safety awareness and load restraint knowledge.

Responsibilities

Job description

Team Global Express is looking for an experienced MR Driver to join our team in Albury, NSW.

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:36pm.

In this role, you will be responsible for completing safe and efficient pickup and delivery of freight across the local area. You will also use a forklift to assist with loading and unloading freight as required.

What you’ll do

• Complete local pickup and delivery of freight
• Safely operate an MR vehicle
• Load and unload freight using a forklift
• Ensure freight is handled safely and securely
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any issues
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Provide friendly and professional service to customers
• Follow all safety, compliance and Chain of Responsibility requirements
• Work closely with the depot and operations team to ensure freight is delivered on time

What you’ll bring

• Current Forklift (LF) Licence – essential
• Previous experience in pickup and delivery or freight transport will be highly regarded
• Good knowledge of safe loading, unloading and load restraint
• Strong focus on safety
• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with the physical requirements of the role
