Legion Drilling in Sydney NSW is seeking an Entry-Level Driller's Offsider to join our growing team. No prior drilling experience required as full training will be provided and you will learn on the job alongside experienced drillers.

You will gain hands-on, practical skills as you assist with drilling operations, set up and pack down equipment, and contribute to a safe, efficient team across various sites around Australia. A strong work ethic and a willingness to travel are essential.

You don't need previous drilling experience. We're looking for someone who is hands-on, mechanically minded, reliable and willing to learn. If you enjoy working with machinery, being outdoors and aren't afraid of hard work, we'll provide the training and experience to help you build a long-term career in drilling.

About Legion Drilling

Legion Drilling is a specialist Environmental, Geotechnical and Sonic drilling contractor operating across Australia.

Our work takes us from metropolitan construction sites to remote locations around the country. No two jobs are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to work with experienced drillers while learning the trade from the ground up.

The Role

As a Driller's Offsider, you'll work alongside our experienced drilling crews and learn all aspects of drilling operations.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Assisting the Driller with drilling operations

• Setting up and packing down drilling equipment

• Handling drilling rods, tools and equipment

• Operating and maintaining equipment under supervision

• General manual and labouring duties

• Assisting with site preparation and clean-up
• Learning how drilling rigs and associated machinery operate
• Following safety procedures and site requirements
• Working as part of a small, tight-knit crew

This is a hands-on role. You'll be working outdoors, getting your hands dirty and learning something new every day.

What We're Looking For

You don't need drilling experience – we're more interested in your attitude and potential.

We're looking for someone who:

• Is mechanically minded and enjoys working with machinery

• Is practical and hands-on

• Has a strong work ethic and isn't afraid of physical work
• Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work

• Is comfortable working long days when required
• Is prepared to travel regularly for work

Previous experience in construction, mechanical work, machinery, landscaping, farming, trades or similar hands-on industries would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Essential Requirements
