Job summary

Ausdrill, part of the Perenti Group, invites applications for Drillers Offsiders to join the team. We offer a traineeship with the aim of obtaining Cert II and Cert III in Drilling operations, progressing to Cert IV Senior Driller and potentially running your own crew.

Competitive casual hourly rates with 12% super on all hours worked, fortnightly pay, and employee discounts across health, entertainment, technology, travel and retail stores.

Qualifications

• HR Driver's licence or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Experience as Drillers Offsider with RC, Diamond or Aircore rigs preferred.
• Commitment to safety-first practices and site access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support drilling crew on RC, Diamond or Aircore rigs under supervision.
• Assist with rig operations and equipment readiness for day and night shifts.
• Maintain adherence to site procedures and safety standards.

Key Requirements

• HR Drivers licence (or be able to get one within 3 months).
• Previous experience working as a Drillers Offsider working with either RC or Diamond or Aircore rigs highly regarded.
• A strong commitment to safety first practices.
• Committed to a site-specific roster working both days and nights.
• Reliable, proactive, and ready to get the job done.
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Driver’s Licence).

We provide exploration drilling, production drilling, blasting services and geotechnical services across Australia, from the mining majors to junior explorers.
