Job summary

Experience is not required; however applicants must be energetic, self-motivated and physically fit. Essential cards include Construction Induction; a Rail Industry Worker card is preferred, along with a manual driving licence. Drug/alcohol testing may be required.

Qualifications

• No experience necessary, but candidates must be physically fit, energetic and self-motivated.
• Construction Induction card is essential.
• Rail Industry Worker card is preferred.
• Manual driving licence (ability to tow a trailer preferred).
• First Aid Certificate is preferred.
• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screens.
• Must be willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist to set up, dismantle, move drill rigs and equipment.
• Mix drilling muds, fluids, chemicals and cement.
• Maintain adequate water supply.
• Assist the driller with rod handling operations.
• Assist in sample collection.
• Maintain drill rigs, vehicles and equipment in a clean and hazard free condition.

Earthcore Drilling provides expert services for consulting, geotechnical, mining, construction and environmental companies. We have extensive experience in the drilling industry and provide a wide range of drilling techniques, instrumentation, well installation andother services in supportof major projects.Our drilling yard is located in Dandenong South.

We are currently recruiting for a Drillers Assistant to join our energetic and friendly team on VIC based and interstate projects. You will provide support in daily drilling operations to a senior experienced Driller.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Assisting to set up, dismantle, move drill rigs and equipment
• Mix drilling muds, fluids, chemicals and cement
• Maintain adequate water supply
• Assist the driller with rod handling operations
• Assist in sample collection
