Job summary

Action Drill and Blast is seeking experienced Drill or Diesel Fitters for a Full-Time 7/7 DIDO position at the South Walker Creek Project in the Bowen Basin (Coppabella/Nebo region). Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will service REICHDrill rigs, prioritise repairs, and coach Trainee Fitters.

Qualifications

• Must have handy hand tools and a current HR licence is advantageous.
• Strong diagnostic and field service faultfinding skills are highly regarded.
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled drill servicing across REICHDrill rigs.
• Prioritise workloads or unscheduled repairs when required.
• Supervise and/or coach Trainee Fitters.
• Maintain and service light vehicles, support trucks and trailers.
• Fulfil all safety requirements and maintenance reporting needs.

We are currently seeking applications and expressions ofinterest from experienced Drill or Diesel Fitters for Full-Time 7/7 DIDO position at our South Walker Creek Project in the BowenBasin (Coppabella/Nebo region).

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Perform scheduled drill servicing across our REICHDrill rigs
• Prioritising workloads or unscheduled repairs when required
• Supervising and/or coaching the activities of Trainee Fitters
• Maintaining and servicing light vehicles, support trucks and trailers
• Fulfilling all safety requirements and maintenance reporting needs.

ESSENTIAL Skills and requirements include:

• Hand Tools
• Driver Licence (HR advantageous)
• High level of diagnostic skills and field service faultfinding is highly regarded
• Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour

DESIRABLE skills include:

• Drill Maintenance ability
• Previous Drill experience, but not mandatory
• Previous Mining experience, but not mandatory
• Heavy machinery maintenance experience
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Ability to work as part of a small team
• Excellent communication skills and safety awareness
• Working at Heights
