Job summary

FMS Group seeks an Experienced Drill Fitter to join the Diesel Division in the Bowen Basin, Queensland. You will leverage prior heavy machinery experience in a mining setting and Sandvik drill familiarity to service and repair equipment.

This 7:7 rostered role offers immediate start for self-motivated professionals committed to safety, quality workmanship, and meeting site requirements.

Qualifications

• Sandvik drill experience essential.
• Mining environment experience required.
• Must hold Coal Board Medical and Standard 11.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy machinery quickly and accurately.
• Provide high standard of service to clients.
• Maintain safety practices and comply with site requirements.
• Liaise with management and clients effectively.

Experienced Drill Fitter wanted to join our Diesel Division in the Bowen Basin. You will have previous experience working on heavy machinery within a mining environment. Preferred fleet experience includes Sandvik Drills. This is a 7:7 Rostered opportunity with an immediate start.

With a proactive attitude towards safety and your ability to diagnose and repair heavy machinery, you will provide a high standard of service to our clients.

The successful applicant, will have:

• Sandvik Drill experience essential
• Experience working in a mining environment
• Coal Board Medical
• Standard 11 Statement of Attainment
• Current Drivers Licence

• Have the proven ability to liaise with both management and clients
• Uncompromising attitude to safety
• Ability to meet site requirements
