Job summary

FMS Group is seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to join our Diesel Division in the Bowen Basin. The role requires hands-on maintenance on heavy mining machinery with Sandvik Drill experience, safety focus, and the ability to meet site requirements.

Immediate start on a 7:7 roster is available for the right candidate. Applicants should have Coal Board Medical, Standard 11, a current driver’s license, and strong communication skills to liaise with management and clients.

Qualifications

• Sandvik Drill experience essential.
• Mining environment experience required.
• Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Certificate preferred.
• Current Driver’s Licence required.
• Uncompromising safety mindset and ability to meet site requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heavy machinery on site.
• Provide high standard of service to our clients.
• Liaise with management and clients to resolve issues.
• Maintain safety compliance and quality during maintenance.
• Contribute to on-going improvements and downtime reduction.

Job description

We want you:

Experienced Drill Fitter wanted to join our Diesel Division in the Bowen Basin. You will have previous experience working on heavy machinery within a mining environment. Preferred fleet experience includes Liebherr Diggers Sandvik Drills. This is a 7:7 Rostered opportunity with an immediate start.

With a proactive attitude towards safety and your ability to diagnose and repair heavy machinery, you will provide a high standard of service to our clients.

• Sandvik Drill experience essential
