Drill Works Services Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Drill Fitter to maintain a fleet of Epiroc Tophammer drill rigs at an open cut mine in north Queensland. The role operates on a 7 on / 7 off roster with day/night shifts and flights from Brisbane, Cairns, Rockhampton or DIDO from Townsville.

Key tasks include scheduled servicing, breakdown repair and fault-finding across hydraulics, mechanics, pneumatics and basic electrical systems, with a focus on safety and accurate

Formación

• Trade qualified: HD Fitter, Diesel Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter or Mechanical Fitter (Australian recognised).
• Air con ticket and high risk work licenses are highly regarded.
• Drill rig experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Scheduled servicing and PMs on drill rigs and ancillary gear, breakdowns and fault-finding; hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and basic electrical work.
• Component change-outs, hose making and hydraulic repairs; keep accurate service sheets and pre-starts.

About the role

We’re after an experienced Drill Fitter to keep a fleet of Epiroc Tophammer drill rigs running at an open cut mine in north Queensland. The roster is 7 on / 7 off, day shift/night shift. Flights are available from Brisbane, Cairns and Rockhampton or DIDO from Townsville.

What you’ll do

- Scheduled servicing and PMs on drill rigs and ancillary gear, breakdowns and fault-finding: hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and basic electrical, component change-outs, hose making and hydraulic repairs. Keep accurate service sheets, job cards and pre-starts and work safely in line with site procedures.

What we’re after

- Trade qualified: HD Fitter, Diesel Fitter, Mobile Plant Fitter or Mechanical Fitter (Australian recognised) - Drill rig experience preferred. Air con ticket and high risk work licenses are highly regarded.

What we offer

- $77–$85 per hour + super on a 7/7 roster. Ongoing training and upskilling opportunities are available!
