Job summary

Action Drill & Blast is seeking an experienced Drill Fitter for a Full-Time 7/7 FIFO role at the Carmichael Coal Mine in Central Queensland. Flights are paid from Rockhampton or Townsville. The role operates on day and night shifts with a rotating schedule.

Salary range is $65.00 to $74.00 per hour. You will service REICHDrill rigs, prioritise repairs, maintain equipment, and meet safety and reporting requirements. Training and OT opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate (Mechanical) required.
• High level of diagnostic skills and field service fault finding preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and safety awareness.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Working at Heights required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled drill servicing across REICHDrill rigs.
• Prioritise workloads or unscheduled repairs when required.
• Maintain and service support equipment.
• Fulfill all safety requirements and maintenance reporting needs.

We arecurrently seeking application from experienced Drill orDiesel Fitters for a Full-Time 7/7 FIFOposition at our Carmichael Coal MineProject located in Central Queensland. Paid flights areavailable from Rockhampton or Townsville. This role is arotating day and night shift position.

Thesalary/wage range for this role is $65.00 to $74.00 per hour withTrade-certified Fitters who are new to mining or drill rigs towardsthe lower end of that range and experienced Drill Fitters andLeading Hands towards the higher end.

Reporting to theMaintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for, but not limitedto, the following:

• Perform scheduleddrill servicing across our REICHDrill rigs
• Prioritising workloadsor unscheduled repairs when required
• Maintaining andservicing support equipment
• Fulfilling all safetyrequirements and maintenance reporting needs.
