Action Drill & Blast, a leading drilling and blasting services provider in Australia, invites experienced Drill or Diesel Fitters to join the South Walker Creek project in the Bowen Basin. This full-time 7/7 DIDO role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and covers on-site maintenance across REICHDrill rigs.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on diagnostic skills, a current HR licence, and the ability to work autonomously or in a team while maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Essential hands-on maintenance and fault-finding abilities.
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a team with strong safety focus.
• Physically fit with capability to perform manual labour on heavy machinery.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled drill servicing across REICHDrill rigs.
• Prioritise workloads and manage unscheduled repairs.
• Supervise and coach Trainee Fitters.
• Maintain and service light vehicles, support trucks and trailers.
• Meet all safety requirements and maintenance reporting needs.

We are currently seeking applications and expressions ofinterest from experienced Drill or Diesel Fittersfor Full-Time 7/7 DIDO positionat our South Walker Creek Project in the BowenBasin (Coppabella/Nebo region).

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will beresponsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Perform scheduled drill servicing across our REICHDrill rigs
• Prioritising workloads or unscheduled repairs whenrequired
• Supervising and/or coaching the activities of TraineeFitters
• Maintaining and servicing light vehicles, support trucksand trailers
• Fulfilling all safety requirements and maintenancereporting needs.

ESSENTIAL Skills and requirements include:

• Hand Tools
• Driver Licence (HR advantageous)
• High level of diagnostic skills and field service faultfinding is highly regarded
• Ability to work autonomously and part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour

DESIRABLE skills include:

• Drill Maintenance ability
• Previous Drill experience, but not mandatory
• Previous Mining experience, but not mandatory
• Heavy machinery maintenance experience
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Ability to work as part of a small team
• Excellent communication skills and safety awareness
• Working at Heights
