Job summary

Dyno Nobel Limited is seeking a hands-on Technical Engineer to deliver blasting support across Bowen Basin sites, leading technical projects, blasting trials and continuous improvement. The role is based at Brisbane Head Office with significant travel, offering autonomy and strong customer focus.

You will work with site teams and customers to optimise value-in-use outcomes, provide training for blasting crews and coordinate trials.

Qualifications

• Proven technical expertise in drill and blast within coal operations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication across site teams.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical drill and blast support for a key customer operation
• Implementing value-in-use products and applications to enhance customer outcomes
• Identifying and delivering continuous improvement opportunities at site
• Providing technical input and support for customer-produced blast designs
• Delivering technical training and support for blast crews
• Managing and delivering technical projects, blasting trials and continuous improvement initiatives across customer operations
• Building strong relationships with customer technical teams, Drill & Blast Supervisors and operational stakeholders to support site performance and blasting outcomes
• Planning, coordinating and evaluating blasting trials and technical projects to improve customer outcomes and product performance
