Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning programs on student growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and providing feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Behaviours aligned with Department values and commitment to ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contributing to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching and organisational duties as directed by the Principal.
• Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
