Job summary

Finnco Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Drainage Engineer to join our team in NSW. You will report to the Director and be responsible for drainage design, ensuring adherence to local planning schemes and government requirements.

You will conduct site inspections and engage with clients to deliver robust engineering advice. The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, white card, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with the Director and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering or other relevant qualification.
• Eligibility for membership of the Institute of Engineers, Australia.
• Current NSW General Construction Induction (white card) or willingness to obtain before starting.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Open and effective communication skills.
• Time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Confidence in completing onsite inspections.
• Driver's licence and own transport.
• Right to work and reside in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to LGA Development Control Plans and other government body requirements.
• Competence using standard Office Software Packages.
• Use in other Engineering Software Packages may be an advantage.
• Have confidence in completing onsite inspections.
