Job summary

DCV Plant and Civil in Western Sydney is seeking a skilled Drainer to join our team. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing underground drainage systems for civil construction projects across roads and infrastructure.

Key duties include reading plans, setting out drainage, laying pipes, installing stormwater and sewer drainage, testing for leaks and faults, and completing backfilling and reinstatement. Must have White Card and civil site experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in drainage installation and repair on civil construction sites.
• Ability to interpret drainage plans and specifications.
• Current licences/registrations required for the work undertaken.
• Commitment to safety, quality workmanship and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret plans, drawings and drainage specs.
• Set out drainage systems with correct alignment and levels.
• Prepare trenches and lay and join drainage pipes.
• Install stormwater and sewer drainage systems and fittings.
• Inspect tests for leaks or faults; repair damaged pipes.
• Complete backfilling and site reinstatement per project requirements.
• Collaborate with supervisors and trades to complete projects safely.
