Job summary

BHP Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) is seeking experienced, safety-focused Dragline Operators for Goonyella Mine, Moranbah. Reporting to the Supervisor Draglines, you will operate draglines and assist with open-cut production while maintaining safety and environmental standards.

The role involves a 7-on/7-off roster with DIDO or local travel to Moranbah, and requires experience with Marion 8050/Bucyrus 1370 and other heavy equipment. BHP emphasizes a diverse, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a dragline operator.
• Minimum ‘C' Class Driver's license.
• Experience operating Marion 8050 & Bucyrus 1370.
• Demonstrated experience operating D10, D11 Dozers.
• Demonstrated experience operating a Cable Tractor.
• Experience operating Graders, Cable truck, Reeler is also preferred.
• Trainer assessor competency highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated commitment to safety, health, the community and the environment.
• The roster will be 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off roster, DIDO or Local to Moranbah, working cooperatively within a team to achieve safe production targets.
• Contributes to the operation of mobile machinery and other plant in an open cut environment.
• Apply technical expertise to solve problems and deliver for the customer.
