Job summary

BHP Group is seeking experienced Dragline Operators for the Goonyella Mine in Queensland, Australia. The role involves operating draglines, adhering to safety standards, and working 7 days on/off roster with DIDO or local arrangements around Moranbah.

Responsibilities include operating Marion 8050, Bucyrus 1370 and other related equipment, contributing to safe production targets and team-based operations in an open-cut environment. Collaborative skills and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a dragline operator.
• Experience operating Marion 8050 & Bucyrus 1370.
• Experience operating D10 and D11 dozers.
• Experience operating a Cable Tractor.
• Experience operating graders and cable truck is preferred.
• Trainer assessor competency highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Commitment to safety, health, community and environment.
• Roister 7 days on, 7 days off; DIDO or local to Moranbah; operate within a team to meet safe production targets.
• Operate mobile machinery and other plant in an open cut environment.
• Apply technical expertise to solve problems and deliver for the customer.
