Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking an experienced Dragline Operator for an open cut mining operation in Central Queensland's Bowen Basin. You will operate Bucyrus/ Marion draglines, perform pre-start inspections, and work with production crews to meet safety and production targets.

This lifestyle roster role offers a competitive hourly rate of 96.45 AUD and a monthly production bonus, with a strong commitment to safety and long-term opportunities within an established site.

Qualifications

• Previous open cut mining experience as a Dragline Operator.
• Demonstrated experience operating relevant dragline equipment.
• SSE/Delegate-signed skills list with current and valid competencies.
• Experience operating Bucyrus 1370, Marion 8200, Marion 8200S.
• Current Standard 11.
• Current Coal Board Medical.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Ability to successfully complete a Drug & Alcohol screening.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operating dragline equipment within an open cut mining environment.
• Conducting pre-start inspections and equipment checks.
• Operating equipment safely and efficiently in line with production requirements.
• Working collaboratively with production crews and supervisors.
• Following all site safety procedures and operational standards.
• Maintaining a strong focus on safe and productive operations.
