Job summary

Rolleston Open Cut in Central Queensland seeks an experienced Dragline Operator to join the Drills and Dragline team. You will operate BE 2570 draglines, dozers and graders, and perform pre-start checks to keep equipment safe and productive.

You should have prior open-cut coal mine experience with Tier-1 equipment, a strong safety mindset, and a collaborative spirit to drive continuous improvement on site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an open-cut coal mine.
• Experience operating Tier-1 mining equipment.
• Excellent safety mindset with the ability to positively influence the culture at Rolleston.

Responsibilities

• Operate mining equipment including BE 2570 draglines, dozers and graders.
• Conduct pre-starts to ensure equipment is in a safe operational condition.
• Liaise with key personnel and share ideas for overall improvement outcomes.
• Identify, assess and control workplace hazards.
