TerraCom Limited is seeking an experienced Dragline Operator for the Blair Athol Coal Mine in Central Queensland. You will operate our Bucyrus 1370 dragline as the primary overburden machine, contributing to production goals while upholding safety and quality standards.

This on-site role offers a 7 days on/off roster, DIDO options from coastal towns, and a competitive salary with generous leave. Join a passionate team focused on safe, efficient mining and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience operating major mining equipment including dragline, dozer, grader and cable reeler.
• Knowledge of development of dig plans and interpretation of mine plans.
• Strong safety mindset and teamwork in a high‑hazard environment.

An exciting opportunity awaits, for highly motivated and experienced Dragline Operators to operate our Bucyrus 1370 dragline as the primary overburden mining machine. This position offers the flexibility to live locally or DIDO on a 7 days on 7 days off rotating day and night shift roster. The Blair Athol Coal mine is located an easy 20 minute commute from the family‑friendly township of Clermont in Central Queensland, 120 km northwest of the FIFO hub of Emerald and an easy driving distance from nearby coastal communities.

Key Responsibilities

Your core responsibilities will include:

• You will be responsible for the safe, professional and diligent approach and operation of our 1370 dragline.
• Achieve production targets relating to the dragline.
• Identify, report and act on all hazards whilst complying with the Health, Safety and Environment Management System.
• Maintain cleanliness of all work areas.
• Have a demonstrated positive work ethic.
• Be an effective team player.
• Uncompromising commitment to safety and the environment.
